Account and data deletion

The fastest route is inside the app: Settings → Delete account. If you cannot reach the app, use the email route below.

If you have a subscription, cancel it first
Deleting your account does not cancel your Detective+ subscription. Subscriptions are managed by the App Store or Google Play and will keep charging you after your account is gone. To cancel: iOS — Settings › your Apple Account › Subscriptions; Android — Play Store › Payments and subscriptions › Subscriptions.

Deleting from inside the app

  1. Open the Case Files app.
  2. Go to the Settings tab in the bottom menu.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

If you cannot reach the app

If you lost your phone or already removed the app, you can send the request by email:

destek@casefilesgame.com

So that we can find your account, include at least one of the following:

  • Your in-game user ID (shown under Settings → About)
  • Your in-game display name (e.g. "Detective_1234")
  • If you linked your account to Apple or Google, which account it was
  • Your store receipt number, if you made a purchase

Because accounts are anonymous, if you can supply none of these we may not be able to identify your account safely. Requests are answered within 30 days at the latest.
